As I am before you
On my knees in the morning
So, Lord help me to be
On my feet throughout the day

Lord, may I be
Like all my greatest intentions
When I humble myself
Before your holy throne to pray

And whether sunshine or storm
Should take captive my thoughts
May my eyes not divert
From your ever-perfect way

So at the end of my course
I will not be ashamed
For what you righteously judge
Will for eternity stay
