Let me see
the steady showers of spring
the resurrection
of crocuses and tulips,
and the coming of warmer days.
Let me see
the verdant hillsides,
the crowning flowers
blooming in profusion,
and long nights with fireflys.
Let me see
the brilliant leaves
in all their pristine glory,
as the fierce wind blows
them to the ground.
Let me see
the silent fallen dust
from angels wings
on a cold winter night
and thank You for life!
