A Christmas Heart

by
Dolores Kozielski

A Christmas Heart by Dolores Kozielski

I wish you silver stars
that shine with hope above,
I wish you moonlit dreams
that fill your nights with love
I wish you snow-filled days
in sleighs of warmth and song
I wish you a Christmas heart
all year long

I wish you golden light
that guides your path toward home;
to have a child-like mind,
to never be alone,
I wish you sun-filled times
that shine and keeps you young
I wish you a Christmas heart
all year long.

I wish you glittering times
where laughter fills your years
I wish you life-long friends
to help you through the tears
I wish you family
to be where you belong
I wish you a Christmas heart
All year long

I wish you a Christmas heart
the greatest gift of all
I wish you a Christmas heart
Spring, summer, and in fall,
so when the winter comes
you’ll keep the gift within
and share it all year long
till Christmas comes again.

Keep Christ in Christmas

by
Agatha Weeks

All I want for Christmas is to include Christ once again, for I know
that it's only right, and we can start by taking the X out of Xmas, and
adding C H R I S T, as in CHRIST!!

But it's not just in its wording, be it Xmas or Christmas,
nor the voice in which it's heard;
it's more about how we act that counts,
for "actions speak louder than words".

Santa and his reindeers are enjoyed by all; this indeed is true. But
never forget the "Infant In The Manger", who gave his life for you.

It's so easy to get caught up in the moment, with the many packages
underneath our tree, along with the twinkling lights, topped with a star
shining bright, but still.......there's something missing for me.

Celebrate the season; enjoy its every worth!! Gather family-n-friends
'round you, but first......celebrate our Savior's Birth.

For Xmas is much like a season, it's likened to an hourglass. Its fix is
temporary; its ending, much too fast.

Christmas is everlasting. There's no longer a need for strife, for
because of our Savior's birth, death, and resurrection, we've been
promised Eternal Life.

So have yourself a Merry Christmas, and may all of your Christmas' be bright, and
they will if you keep your priorities in order; the first being
C H R I S T, as in CHRIST.
