'Tis the season of giving and in this season may we all remember that creativity is one of life's most precious gifts that has been bestowed on each and everyone of us. Gifts that we should all use to their utmost ends. Though in the process of creating and utilizing these gifts, you may ask questions like:

what does one do with their creativity?
how can one's creativity further humanity?
am I really an artist?

Which brings me to a katauta I wrote:
what makes an artist?
a creation is one's truth
to their own reality

Inside one's reality, there is a belief that when one is able to receive monetary benefit from their creative endeavors, time should be set aside in their life to offer them for free to those who cannot afford them. I personally do this in all my creative endeavors, be it teaching hatha yoga, writing, drawing, dj-ing, art modeling, music, etc.

For it gives one such wonderful feelings to share gifted creativity with others while at the same time gaining experience in one's chosen creative endeavors - which is a reward in itself. So always try to remember that the most important part of creating in life is learning and growing as a human being.

On that note, I'm going to leave you with my best wishes to all of you within this season of giving and may all of you enjoy and celebrate the holidays with your family and friends.
