The aroma of coffee and cinnamon buns
Drift into my sleep
Suddenly I hear a voice call to me
Come, wake up, it’s Christmas Day

I jump from bed and run into the parlor
There I see him, smiling brightly
He hands me a beautifully wrapped package
And says "Merry Christmas Kid"

Quickly I open the gift
As I look up to thank him for the beautiful present
He’s gone
Vanished

Then I hear the alarm clock go off
And I realize
Just a dream
Or was it?
