Soft and gentle angel wings
Flutter close to earthly things
In the spirit they like to bring
A love at Christmas time.

Gold and tinkely angel harps
With delicate fingers magic starts
Puts the feelings inside our hearts
A love at Christmas time

Halo's round above their heads
Signs of purity, it is said
Thoughts and feelings just ahead
A love at Christmas time.

Satin and silk angel gowns
In pearly white, like fluffy down
Echoing voices they send around
A love at Christmas time.

Eleanor Hackbarth - Poetry to me is like expressing yourself in a beautiful way. Its a hobby of mine I have had for sometime now and have a collection of them in keeping.
