Sweetness

Summer sun at dawning,
Wind upon the leaves,
Eagles hunting, mountain streams
Earth and air believes
There will rise a new day.
Next will come the rain;
Eaves will fill, rivers flow.
Soon, in sweetness, all we know
Seems to rise again.

Pam H. Murray is Canadian, living on the west coast, 53 years old and has been writing poetry since the 1960’s. She writes because it is the easiest thing she can do and it is her release when life gets to be too much.
